Appointments, Deposits & Cancellations

All appointments must be scheduled through our online booking system or by phone. Service times are estimates and may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.

Rescheduling: Must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to retain your deposit

Cancellations (<24 hours): Subject to a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service

Weather/Emergencies: We will work with you to reschedule without penalty when applicable

Accurate contact information is required at the time of booking to ensure proper communication.

Vehicle Preparation & Customer Responsibilities

To ensure an efficient and safe service:

- Please remove all personal belongings and trash prior to your appointment

- We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle

- For safety reasons, we do not remove or reinstall car seats or booster seats

Additional charges may apply for:

- Excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, or heavily soiled interiors

We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle’s condition presents health or safety risks.

Customers must:

- Ensure access to the vehicle at the scheduled time and location

- Provide a safe and adequate working environment

- Disclose any known issues (leaks, fragile trim, electrical concerns, etc.)

Payment Terms

Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of service.

We accept:

- Cash

- Major credit/debit cards

- Mobile payment options

Late or unpaid balances may be subject to additional fees.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction matters to us.

If you are not satisfied with your service, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to inspect and correct any concerns within the scope of the agreed service.

Workmanship Warranty

At First In Detail & Customs, we stand behind the quality of our work.

All applicable services are backed by a limited workmanship warranty, covering installation or service-related defects under normal use.

This may include:

- Installation-related issues such as peeling, lifting, or bubbling (vinyl wraps, coatings, etc.)

- Service-related inconsistencies within the agreed scope

This warranty does NOT cover:

- Normal wear and tear

- Improper maintenance or neglect

- Environmental damage (road debris, weather, contaminants, etc.)

- Damage from automatic car washes or pressure washing

- Customer-inflicted damage or misuse

- Pre-existing conditions or underlying surface/material failure

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

Manufacturer Warranty

Products and materials used—including but not limited to vinyl wraps, coatings, and aftermarket parts—may carry manufacturer warranties.

- Manufacturer warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty

- Coverage, terms, and approval are determined solely by the manufacturer

- First In Detail & Customs does not modify manufacturer warranties

We will assist in facilitating the warranty process on your behalf, including documentation and communication with the manufacturer when applicable. Final approval and coverage decisions remain solely with the manufacturer.

Labor, removal, and reinstallation are not covered under manufacturer warranties unless explicitly stated.

Aftermarket Parts & Customer-Supplied Materials

For parts or materials supplied by the customer:

- We do not guarantee product quality, compatibility, or manufacturer warranty eligibility

- Any warranty claims must be handled through the manufacturer or original seller

- Our workmanship warranty applies to installation only

We strongly recommend using shop-supplied products to ensure quality control and a smoother warranty experience.

Ceramic Coatings, Paint Correction & Custom Work

Results may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.

Paint correction outcomes are influenced by existing paint quality, defects, and prior damage

Ceramic coatings provide protection but do not make surfaces immune to wear or damage

Custom installations and modifications may have limitations based on materials and usage

Proper maintenance is required to preserve results and any applicable warranties.

Liability & Service Limitations

While we take the utmost care with every vehicle, First In Detail & Customs is not liable for:

- Pre-existing damage or conditions

- Damage caused by faulty or aging components

- Issues resulting from undisclosed vehicle concerns

- Normal risks associated with detailing and aftermarket services

We do not provide:

- Biohazard removal

Final Note

By scheduling and receiving services from First In Detail & Customs, you acknowledge and agree to the policies and terms outlined above.
